And I Dreamed The Sweetest Dreams

And I Dreamed The Sweetest Dreams

That night was no joke to me;
The night I dreamed sweet dreams.
I remember you,
So vivid in my mind;
The light caressing your cheekbones,
Your hair being ruffled by the breeze,
Wolves howling to the moon,
Its felt as if it was no one but,
You & Me.
The sweetest dream I've ever dreamed,
Was that night.
I saw you again,
Vivid in the light.
This time you were more beautiful,
The moon seems to bring out your eyes,
It seems to me that you are trapped,
In a world that never see's you,
Never believes you,
Only decives you.
Foolish are these people,
Thinking they are so high,
When really,
We are all the same,
You, Me & That Guy,
We are equal.
Theres always a ladder though,
The ladder of Dreams,
Everyone wants to make it to the top,
To see the veiw of the sky,
Where no will stop them.
The ladder of Dreams.
Yes, I guess thats what the difference is in,
You & Me.
That dream led me to this,
To this grand conclusion,
That we, really, could never be,
You being different than me,
A shame it is,
But we will see
:)

Vancouver 2010 Olympics, Whistler, Cypress, Downtown, The Lower Mainland ( My General Thoughts About These Places and Events)

This weekend I went to Vancouver. Things have changed since, say, 3 years ago. After the Olypimcs were scheduled Vancouver went into a mad frenzy to clean up the city and make it ready for the worldnor something like that. Well, they've done it. Vancouver is now sporting the olympic mascots on every free space of bulding, bus, and billbord. They have re-constructed the Sea to Sky highway, they have made live sites in Yaletown, and Downtown. They have printed the hugest Canadian Leaf's and put them allover the place, and they have wrapped the Art Gallery in a beautiful tapestry. As I have been listening to the news, I have noticed that one problem that seems to keep coming up, and that would be the lack of snow. Thats right. This winter decided to be nice and warm. The Olympic people must be freaking out. So we have options, right now they(being the snow people) are stock piling all the snow on top of the mountain. But it looks extremely bare up there. So, we have options. Move it Whistler is what I think, more snow, colder, lots of resturants and pubs. Theres always the issue I guess of all the scaffolding that they built, but whistler has all of that. If we are going to have athelets from all over the world here, then why dont we put them on the best snow we got close to Vancouver? I think that the Olympics willl be spectatular, and im excited to see how they deal with things like that as they come. While we were in Vancouver, we visited Richmond. Richmond is the most confusing town with all of its by-passes, and exits, and big buildings, thank gosh for iPhones!!! We woulda gotten pretty lost!! Well Vancouver sure has changed for the Olympics, and I know that its worth it! It should be pretty spectactular!!

Melting

Everthing is melting,
The ice is breaking.
My mind is melting,
All this knowledge is filling my brain
 to quickly.
I need a break,
A little relaxation.
A little time to myself,
In some destination,
That lets my mind go free.

Everything New

Everything New is so confusing
New paths
New lives
New friendships
Which way do you go?
Do you take a right on the highway of life?
Responsibility,
Easy for you, but for another life? Tricky
Trust,
Something I give out to easy,
Need to learn to rein it in,
All people aren't good!
New things change your life,
They can take an unexpected turn for the good,
or the bad.
Depending on which way you look at it.
Its all up to you,
You have power to change
How you feel in the morning, and the evening
How to treat tragedies, disasters,
happiness, joy,
privledges, advantages,
tools, games,
friendships, heartaches.
All these things you can control in someway,
We choose not to,
We want to take the easier path,
There is no "easy path"
Life is hard,
There's potholes in the road,
Little bumps that can stop you,
Dead in your Tracks.
Everything new,
Is not as it seems.

Facebook, Texting, Messanger... And all of those other fun things...

My mum keeps telliing me that we live in a new generation, which we do obviously. But what she means is with our ways of always being able to communicate. I do agree that sometimes it seems like we are always in communication, cause, well we are. When these things are taken away from you, finding other things to do is not always easy. We have gotten used to always being able to have a conversation with someone. We have forgotten what to do with out a phone or computer or TV. It can get boring... Not being able to watch a show, or talk to someone, or look at things on facebook. I have my phone, and a TV, and a computer. the thing I dont have is facebook right now. Sometimes I can find it difficult, maybe because I want to talk to a friend who doent have a cell. But really I want to talk to my best friend who is in belieze! Its hard to talk to her, and I am greatful for tools like facebook. But when you get it taken away, it becomes more difficult. The thing with facebook, texting, and messanger is that really, you dont know whos on the other end, you may have the person as "John" in your contacts but it could easily be one of his friends. Ive had that happen to me where it has not been the person you think it is. And sometimes it can hurt, they can say mean things, and you think it is them. I havent had messanger for a very long time. In someways I miss it, but not really, cause I have facebook which has a chat right in it (but right now I dont have facebook). I used to text people a lot, but I have really been working on not texting a lot of people. I think I am doing pretty good. My inbox used to have to be emptyed once every day(it can hold 500 texts, weather sent or recived). Now I havent emptyed it in 7 days and I only have 100 texts (added togeather from sent and recived). I think that I realized that you can just talk to them at school the next day. And if you can't, well then should you really be talking to them? I mean if you guys are not really friends you just text, then really should you be talking to them? The people I talk to now are people that I talk to regularly, or I wave to in the hall.

So, one of my new years resolutions is to live where I am and who im with. Enjoy the people around you, listen and learn about what they have to say. You'll be suprised what your missing!

Taking The Road Less Traveled

Taking the road less traveled is not always the easiest thing to do. We live in a world that thrives on being busy and always having something on your mind. Somedays we just want to get away, to a place our mind can go free. Today was one of those days. So, we went on a walk and discovered life as it used to be.
We left our place and walked pretty much into our back yard (which is the powerlines). We had a basic idea of where we were going and set off west(ish). We came along a few obsitcles but mostly we were just going for the enjoyment of a walk. It turns out I have a great sense of navigation (my dad says it comes from his side of the family), and that our family likes to tresspass on properties (its not tresspassing unless its dark or someone has asked you to leave) and so we continued. We went through a Gravel Pit, and when we first came up to this Gravel Pit, I have to admit, I was scared. It had big cement blocks lining the powerlines and what looked like a gun station. But all ended up well. We kept walking and then came across a place for old cars and trailers and trucks, we kept walking up and we knew that we were roughly looking for the old japanese fishing dam, which is on Chaster Creek. We did find the creek but it was to steep to go down. And so we kept walking... We ended up finding an old pioneer cemetary. This cemetary was full of magic, I could just feel it when we walked by. There were many old graves. Some dated back to the death being in the arly 1920's. Some were only two years ago. But today, we took the road less traveled and found a wonderful place that looks like it might have been forgotten.

Heres a picture from one of our previous walks;
